Sweet story

this was a nice sweet short story... I really liked it, a HEA with no cheating.

A fun surprise!

I didn't know if I'd like this but I loved the whimsy of it and the narration was fantastic! Going to listen to the rest of them.

This was a fantastic quick listen.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Timely Love?

Not only did the narrator have a lovely voice, the story was cute and interesting. Great for a commute home from work.

Have you listened to any of Sonja Field’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I had not listed to Sonja Field before, however I will make sure I do again!! She was great!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I loved the part when Beth kept trying to convince herself Edward was a dream. It sounded just like something I would do.

Any additional comments?

I need to state that I did receive this ARC as a gift in return for an honest review. That being said, this is a wonderfully quick, but very interesting story!! I can't wait to see/hear what happens next!!

Great read and listen..

OK, that was a really delightful short read. No angst, no misunderstandings, no sex, just a great little love story. Aaaand, it WASN’T written in the first person, like 99% of all witchy stories are. And they usually have a terrible narrator, too. This narrator was really good.

This was about witch Glenda Goode who brought two people together through time. First Beth went back to 1899 and met Edward, several times, and then Edward came forward to 2016 to be with Beth. If you want to know if they stayed in her time or went back to his you’ll have to read the novella. I really wish this had been a full novel, it was that good.

HOWEVER, I won’t be listening to the next one in the series because Ghostly Love has 202 pages and the price has been raised to $7.49 and paying that much for 202 pages is never going to happen. Not when this one cost $1.99.

As to the narration: I’d never heard of Sonja Field before but she did a great job on the voices and the emotions. I would definitely listen to her again. She didn’t give Edward a deep voice but she gave him a really nice one.
