(a butter bar) on his tour of duty in those turbulent days that started with Tet ’68. These were days some have never --- nor can ever --- move beyond. It’s also a story of the absurdities and realities of what war was like from behind a camera. Through a Lens Darkly: Vietnam is a novel, but it’s also a real story about that war as seen through the eyes and camera lens of some of the men who filmed it.
