Violet journals her life in a notebook in the form of letters to her grandmother. They start out sarcastic and funny, as she shares entertaining and exaggerated tales of her teenage life. But when Violet finds out about the meteor, everything changes. Suddenly she is thrust into a grown-up world, and her survival isn't guaranteed.

The pages of her journal are a journey. They detail the frightening and heartbreaking global catastrophe as it unfolds before her eyes.

Don't buy this. Terrible.

Terrible. Story makes no sense and isn't believable. No adult would react this way. The reactions of the adults make no sense. So a meteor is coming, and instead of making for the shelter immediately, you, what, hang around for weeks? You wait until everything literally goes to hell to head there? Stupid. The only believable part is the reactions of the little girl. Which makes sense because this sounds like it was written by a 12 year old. Awful. Returning this dumpster fire of a story.
