Just Buy It!

Ok y'all, so love me a good lesbian romance, and have over 75 of them in my audible library. When looking for my next listen I was as hesitant as others when I saw the length of this one. I read over the reviews though and saw so many say it's the best, a favorite, a top pick for them. So, naturally I ignored them and got When You Least Expect It first to make sure I would like this author (as I already know Lori is my jam). Cass didn't disappoint and as soon as I finished that book I got this one.

Ladies, the reviews were right. Yes this book is long, and yes it's now a favorite if not THE favorite of my collection. I felt like I was watching a series or movie...so much character development, supporting roles, and background. It keeps you so engaged. I wouldn't consider myself super emotional, but I found myself reacting to this story...laughing while jogging in the park, crying while listening in bed (making my poor wife think something was wrong). Sutton is so lovable and sweet and I've known people like her... adorably clueless. Charlotte I connected more with as she's more reflective of my personality....and them together is perfect.

Cass, you've got it all going for you. If these first few books are any indication of what's to come in the future, you've got nothing but success headed your way. Congrats.... I look forward to your next read.

Sweet and sexy is what I found in this story that is very well crafted. I will be looking forward to more from Haley Cass.

Good book great story

Well written and narrated love story . Highly recommend. The audio Kistner's will have a vivid description in their minds.

Best Coming Out Story Ever

One of the main characters, Charlotte, gives one the most inspiring coming out scenes to a political news reporter I have ever read. As she reveals her truth as a lesbian for the first time to this reporter, her swirling thoughts in her mind analyses the courage and integrity of doing so. I think this author is an incredibly talented writer and this book merits considerable book awards.

Hit all the right spots

Was a little nervous because of the length but absolutely loved this book. Didn’t seem too long. I felt like if you cut any part out you’d miss some of the story.

Definitely laughed out loud a few times. Never read/listen to this author before but definitely a fan now. As always Lori Prince was amazing!!

Absolutely loved it!

One of my favorites and I just finished listening to it. I will be listening again!! I loved the narration and the story itself. Wow!!! Steamy, hot and a great story. I couldn't stop listening to it no matter how hard I tried.

Favorite Book

This is now my favorite book. The book made things sound more realistic. The reader made things sound sexier.

Well rounded story - Similar to real life

Enjoyed story could relate on a personal level. Reminded me of the don't ask don't tell days of the military.

Full story!!

This was an amazing story! As long as it was, I was sad it ended. Character development?! I knew these characters like they were friends and acquaintances! Haley Cross can tell a story! I was hooked after chapter 1! Thanks Haley. It’s been a while since I’ve enjoyed a book like this. And Lori Prince did a great job with this one. She took Sutton’s voice from being nervous and a not very confident speaker to a woman who had these experiences and her voice evolved into a confident and yet caring voice. Lori actually evolved this woman’s voice in an audiobook! And it was so natural and necessary. I was blown away! It was subtle changes in tone and confidence that it was such a natural transition. Haley, begging for a sequel on this one. Please?! Get it and read it!
