Since Ella could remember, she knew things she shouldn’t. An ability that, at times, could be terrifying. But she refused to let it change her life in any way. Ella made sure to live for each day, for each moment, because for Ella, there wouldn’t be many.

All Ella’s daughter, Sera, wanted was to be normal. But Sera has her own ability, a dark version of her mother’s. She can see through the eyes of a sadistic sociopath, pulling her deeper into their mind with each murder.

She can feel the killer, their hurt, their hate. And that hate wants revenge. Whatever the cost.

Engaging storyline

The story had me completely engaged and wanting to keep listening. I loved how it went back and forth between the present and past.
