Acerca de esta escucha
Things I Would Like to Do with You is about love. A love for a new generation. A love that includes room for independence, change, humor...even loneliness. Poetically searching through four seasons, this is a sweet book to curl up next to a fire and listen to.
About the author: Waylon Lewis likes to think he snowshoes hut-to-hut and builds nailless tiny houses in trees while drinking wild-crafted teas from herbs he has gathered in the woods beside his faithful half-hound, Redford. In reality, he founded Elephant Journal.
Excerpt from the book:
"Love is about finding one's match, which means we shall touch our minds and hearts together at once, and never condescend or aim for any goal between us but the truth."
"I do not want my idea of you. That is too easy, and it is not real. I want you, faults and all. And I want you to want me, faults and all, not any ideas you have about love."

Daydreams of love still exists
Waylon offers a poetic picture of how we should approach the dance of discovering a new love. Not a naive immature young love but a patient approach to more than just a bunch of words of experience. This experience is felt within your soul as you read and see though Waylon’s perspective which he paints so beautifully in this journey through the pages. My heart fell in love with you Waylon Lewis! Well done.

I’m in looooooooove 💝💝💝💝
If you’re looking for an animated narrator then this isn’t for you. If you enjoy the authentic, raw and natural experience of being read to by the author then please give this book a try! It’s like hearing a RAW AND UNCUT long and interesting love poem and love story at the same time. He says things we all think/feel but don’t realize and also says things we all think but may not be willing to admit to thinking/ feeling! I never thought of relationships, breakups & heart aches from a man’s perspective/ experience before. Thank you for being so transparent and honest. Thank you so much for this wonderful audio book. This one is on my “listen to more than once” list.

Horrible in every way
To be quite clear, I begin this book expecting it to be rather Sweet, and at some point or another overly sentimental, or as a child would put it, mushy. What I did not expect is a book where the only good rating is the quotes of other riders the self-indulgence of the writer In over exaggerator to a point where he sounds like a strange dimensions version of a petulant child, that might have learned a new word, and things far too highly of himself. Also, this author should be psychologically evaluated and anyone thinking of dating him should truly consider that he seems rather obsessive and delusional.
Please forgive any spelling or grammatical errors in my review. I am reviewing this via speak to text because wasting the time trying to type this out would be yet more life wasted on such a pathetic thing. I almost called it a book, but I feel like I cannot give it even that, it is simply a thing.

Let down
I was so excited to listen to this book as so many beautiful quotes were taken from it. Not at all what I expected. I tried really hard to love it but the narration was difficult and monotone. No highs, no lows just the same tone and same speed. Huge let down.
