One of thee most emotional books I have heard.

I knew Stacey Dash was a bold person, but my God... She has overcame such dark days, it is INCREDIBLE. So inspiring for people determined to rise up from poverty/whatever unfortunate situation they are in.

An amazing story of overcoming and becoming. Stacy's life has not been easy, and her story is inspirational.

Engrossing story with a huge lesson

Great story. Just because you are raised in the Hood doesn't mean you are relegated there for life. You are not a victim. She tells her story with shocking frankness and shares the life lessons she has learned along the way. Highly recommended.

Nothing Short of Perfection

Stacey Dash is a strong and intelligent woman who has overcome so much. Meanwhile I disagree with her opinion on Mitt Romney, BET, and Black History Month, I think she should be involved in politics or education. She gives the cold hard facts about the decline of education in America. She or someone like her should become an educator. I am very pleased with this book and listened to it by taking advantage of the amazon audible free trial but it would definitely be worth buying.

This is the only book that I’ve been excited to finish in a very long time. Stacy Dash tells her story very eloquently, and it was a fascinating read. Thank you, Stacy for this.

This book has so much depth and wisdom in it. I would highly recommend reading this especially if you want the truth on what is going on in our country. Stacey is such a strong and courageous Mom.

Wow Just Wow

This is why I love memoirs so much you never know how people grew up until they write a memoir. I never knew she had it so bad in to come out the other side. What an amazing story. Thank you for sharing.

Stacey Dash I knew was a talented writer from reading her blog. I would jokingly "harass" her to write a book on Twitter. I knew she would have a fascinating story to tell... But this went beyond my expectations...
