Dark romance is putting it mildly!
I'm not quite sure how to take this book. It has to be the darkest story I've encountered and though I am anxious to see what happens next I'm a bit hesitant to find out.

a page turning conundrum
Theo and Illya took me on a ride with so many twists and turns I didn't know up from down and loved every second of it. This raw, gritty read made my eyes bulge and my heart race while these two traverse churning waters. The trust they have built between each other, I think, will be tested as the mafia family they are affiliated with move pieces in a game only they know the rules to. Jack Calihan has the perfect voice to give credence to the story and ALL the characters involved. In short, this story is freaking outstanding!

Excellent story and narration!
Theo, an Audiobook by Raven Scott was an exceptional read!!! It’s the first story in the Syndicate series. This is one of the best stories I’ve ever experienced. It’s the story of Theo and Ilya. He’s been told to find Sylvie, who is Ilya’s roommate. When he catches up to Ilya, there is a huge draw between the two. But, she suffers horribly about her body image….and he has similar issues. Can these two be the perfectly imperfect fit for one another….or will outside forces, and both of their issues, intervene and ruin their chances? This was a fascinating story and I was completely engrossed in the outcome!!!
The story was superbly narrated by Jack Calihan, who ALWAYS does a fabulous job performing any Audiobook he narrates. He seems to be able to capture the essence of each character and bring them to life…exactly as I imagine them to be.
What a phenomenal Audiobook! Fabulous all around!!! Can’t wait for the next in the series!!
