Well, if you aren’t shopping in Mexico or Canada, you should be. I voted for President Trump and the Trump 2.0 Administration, and I was happy when they removed nuclear sites in Iran and have been happy with their attempts to try to bring Russia and the Ukraine into peace talks. Liberation Day, which is April 2, 2025, will go down as one of the worst days in economic decision-making in global history, not because it's similar to the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act, but because Americans weren't really told who was liberated, as it wasn't them. It was China. In all fairness, the Trump 2.0 Administration may not have been aware of this, as they live in a lackey filter bubble in which they think that Americans and the rest of the world are a bunch of illiterate masses that can’t read. April 2, 2025, however, was a Liberation Day for the Chinese and the rest of the world, as they will no longer be beholden to the US, OPEC, and other Middle Eastern nations for energy, as they invented the first working and refuelable thorium nuclear reactor in the Gobi Desert, which is great news for governments, environmentalists, and businesses worldwide. We have never had a better time in US history than now for a complete reformation of government and services provided to citizens, as we do now, as our municipal, state, and national administrations are filled with Catholic parochial school-educated individuals that function as lawyers, bankers, doctors, and businesspeoplewho have never really served our country in any capacity and are elitist that treat the American people and the rest of the world as ignorant masses similar to the peasants that filled feudalistic Europe during the Dark Ages. The Trump 2.0 Administration is misguided in many ways; tariffs are a tax on the American people that will fund elitists and Boomer entitlements, and Americans shouldn’t have to pay them nor any taxation toward Social Security or Medicare, as these programs are insolvent and won’t be available in five years. Basically, one-fifth of every tax dollar being spent right now goes to pay down the interest on the national debt, which isn’t necessarily the Trump 2.0 Administration’s fault, but the spending permitted under the One Big Beautiful Bill isn’t going to help. The economic uncertainty caused by the tariffs, the lack of representation that the average American has at the municipal, state, and federal levels, and the educational and social service problems are the underlying fundamental flaws within US society that have made every single American citizen less secure and poorer in combination with creating less solidarity between citizens within our great nation. The cycle is continuing under the Trump 2.0 Administration, and the reality is that Moody’s should have dropped the United States credit score much further, as the citizens of America shouldn’t be responsible for the current nor previous lack of governance and fiscal profligacy. The Trump 2.0 Administration, Congress, and other branches of the US Government in conjunction with the Lululemon-wearing neocons have worsened Americans lives and nearly ruined some very important political relationships that we have established through decades of diplomacy around the world. Things in America are far from okay, and it’s time to take our country and rights back!
