I loved this book! It not only was a detailed and comprehensive guide to building a successful yoga business, but it was filled with interesting stories throughout that fit each theme/chapter, making it a lively and educational read. I will certainly be referring back to this book as I continue on my yoga journey and would recommend this book, not only to the yogi entrepreneur, but anyone interested in building their business and brand in an ethical and sustainable way.

Darren provides a road map in how to build & promote a viable business using social media. I like that it includes guidance on developing relationships that can lead to long-term success. This is a great guide for many different types entrepreneurs, tips transferable to health, healing, arts & services industries.

Great listen for yoga teachers

A great read for those who want some direction on where to go in their post yoga training journey. Darren clearly and easily spells out what needs to happen in order to make it as a yoga teacher. His approach is really accessible for everyone. There are even some insider tips on how to market yourself etc. A great read!

Helped Me Become a Yoga *Professional*

I highly recommend the Yogi Entrepreneur for all yoga teachers serious about making yoga teaching their full-time gig. Reading this book helped me begin to take myself seriously as a yoga professional. I knew I was a good teacher, I knew I have a passion for yoga, but I didn't know that I was missing an entrepreneurial spirit for making yoga how I earn my living. A lot of teachers struggle with yoga as a business (it can even feel difficult charging money for a practice that is so close to your heart). This book is filled with stories, anecdotes, and practical tools and resources that inspire and then point you in the right direction with homework to get you going. I'll return to it again as I put together workshops and retreats, travel as a yoga instructor, and simply for inspiration when I need to remember that I can ethically and sustainably make a living teaching yoga.

fast read, honest, methodical, overall excellent

This book is very exciting - for the seasoned yogi/entrepreneur but also for the amateur like me. Darren starts from the ground up, making the read easy to go through, understandable and honest. I really appreciate this style. It's as if he's having more of a personal conversation (with me) than writing a book, which I appreciate so much. Would highly recommend it to anyone!!!
