When Todd Longstrom graduated from a Jesuit Catholic High School in Denver, Colorado the Arian Heresy was rampant in the world in in Catholic Teaching. He had been a successful athlete in high school, but fostered a dream of being a writer while working as a clothing salesman and model for a fashion store. He moved into a hotel which advertised for a hundred dollars a month room and board would be provided. In the meantime he was offered a job as a Copy Boy for one of Denver's two big newspapers with the hope of eventually writing for the newspaper. At the time he had also met a woman and fallen in love.
