Narrative without much practical advice

It was an interesting story but I was hoping there would be more practical advice. It was just more of something like this happened and then this happened and then we decided on that. I was hoping there would be more content that I could use in my life.

Not that informative

It is like listening to my grandma's story of success where little or no mistake.
It is more of a marketing book than something to learn from.
