Wonderful to better understand the human vs the celebrity & for Britney to tell her compelling story in her own words. Sometimes a difficult listen when aspects of her younger experience mirror your own. The book's ending is not totally up to date, but I suppose the lesson here is - the public is not entitled to such. Brilliantly narrated. Story well written.

Heartbreaking and moving
I really was utterly appalled at the idea of a conservatorship. As a south African, I had never heard of this before. Can't believe this happened in a first world country like America. Brittany story is a testament of unbelievable strength but also a lesson about being too damn nice to people. Very moving. Michelle Williams did a brilliant Job and I felt like I was really listening to Brittany. ❤️❤️

Britney Deserves Better
I managed to listen to the audiobook in 2 hours. My heart feels for Britney Spears who gained fame at such a young age that she gets exploited by the people she thought she could trust. I can't imagine what it must feel like to be constantly manipulated for the most part of her life and most importantly being deprived of her own children. The style of writing is not the most exciting but what matters most is the fact that she can finally tell her story in her own words and I spent a lot of time googling the events that she mentioned. I hope she will be able to get the justice and peace she deserves.

Interesting
Important to listen to her side of the story, as a woman especially. It’s such a highlight of firstly the media’s power over individual narratives, and the power of family trauma to shape the psychological narrative of multiple lives.
