Dark tragedy strikes the three Cray brothers: Two girls have been brutally torn apart by vicious beasts, and the countryside around Cray Manor blazes with the legends of the werewolf. No one believes that a man could have caused such horror. Gaye reluctantly answers her sister Susan's call for help, not wanting to see the man she'd once intended to marry. When she learns that Susan blames Walter Cray for the killings at Craywood, it seems as if the world is collapsing into insanity. mediocre book and performance
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
A mediocre story and performance with a predictable ending. The narration was poor to fair at best.
If you’ve listened to books by V. J. Banis before, how does this one compare?

The narrator sounded like a grade school student reading when called upon to do so by the teacher.

A better narrator would make the book more enjoyable however the story was also insipid and predictable.
