This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... It was just okay
Any additional comments?
I'm always aware that these reviews are based on personal preferences, so I will say that the story didn't really inspire or move me. My first quibble was that the book was written in the present tense - it just felt awkward. The pace felt slow and I found that I didn't really care about the characters. I also didn't especially enjoy the narration. I was relieved when I reached the end.
