I absolutely LOVE this series as well as the King Fountain series, as well as his other books/series, The King Fountain, The first Argentines, Dawning of Muirwood, and Legends of Muirwood! I love the whole storyline especially since each series can be randomly or you can read them in kinda of a sequence cause their all connected from the past and other world where the Mastons go to another to survive to the new world where the murrid ones don't rule!! Absolutely captivating!!!

Jeff Wheelers novels never disappoint. Kate Rudd is an outstanding narrator. It’s easy to tell which character is speaking and she does well reflecting the personalities. The story had my complete attention.

After greatly enjoying the original Kingfountain stories of Owen Kiskadon, the backstory of Ankarette has been a wonderful addition to the tale!

as usual I thoroughly enjoyed the book...

I've been a fan of Jeff Wheeler for many years. this book did not disappoint. The narration was wonderful. I highly recommend.

It was good to hear a great love story with a happy ending and not just mayhem and machinations!
Well written flowed easily and of course Kate Rudd is the Ultimate narrator for this series.
It seemed rather short and flat compared to previous books by this author
