Definitely on my re-read list!

As a parent of three kids where two of them have had to deal with serious medical diagnoses in the last few years, I’m not a stranger to a lot of the same thoughts and feelings Sam talks about with regards to his wife’s cancer- the worry, the pre-grieving, the loneliness. He tackled those feelings with honesty, vulnerability, and the truth of Scripture. This book has given me lots to think about and I will definitely be re-reading it as I continue to process some things. I also feel like more of the author’s written intent comes through if they read their own book, so I consider the fact that this is author-read a bonus!
