Chapter 9 at the end on backsliding Christians is a gem to treasure

I loved the narrator’s kind voice - it does not reek of fiery preaching or self-righteousness at all. It also is a great night time book, like being read to by a loving father. The stories are timeless, the final chapter a gem to treasure.

Excellent, gave me a deeper understanding of the Love and Mercy that our Heavenly Father has For the Believer.

This is one of the first times I've know more about an author of theology before reading any of his work. From what I know of Moody, his writing style reflects how he spoke. This work isn't deeply theological but it deals with areas of theology involving salvation. Moody is not reformed in his theology but that's only evident a little bit. For the most part this book is a call for immediate and complete repentance. Moody's attitude to sometimes says he doesn't know a subject is honest and refreshing. His examples show the greaterness of God and the weakness of man. This is written for a people of a different time period but there is still some good Gospel truth in this. Final Grade - B

First time listening to a DL Moody book

I felt as if he were talking to me, eventhough this was/is a classic.

Like Listening to a Trusted Friend

“The Way to God” is a bountiful little volume about the love and grace of God, and how millions of people have learned the beauty and simplicity of taking God at His Word by trusting in Jesus Christ to save them. While written over a century ago, Moody’s words come across with the gentleness as from a trusted friend. He gives many examples of how individuals came to trust Jesus, and the changes that then came into their lives. The Audible version I listened to was wonderfully read by Dennis McKee.

So many gold nuggets

There were many times I had to pause the Audi, remind it and listen again so I could write down what he said. I highly recommend this book!!

Beautifully Written

I love the way the author has given simple ways to understand the most important aspects of the Bible. The ones where you no longer hear in sermons. I recommend this book to new and seasoned believer, it will make you look into your life. It will make you question whether you are living right by God's word.

This book helps the reader to understand the basics of Christianity and the fundamentals of the Christian faith in which one can refer to in times of struggle or in time of revival. The book helps a beloved to stay of the path of Christ and the unbeliever to come to Jesus in a true conversion that attract both scholar and a childlike understanding

I respect things he says about Salvation! Enjoyed it so much I listen to it twice!
