Wilder's life at the monastery is quiet and predictable until a fleet of longships arrives, carrying warriors from a distant land. The Warrior and The Monk is a m/m romance in a viking-esque setting. It features a large size difference between the main character and the love interest, plenty of miscommunication, a curious chicken, and lots of domestic bliss. This is a low stakes fantasy novel with a happy ending.
