This novel tells the story of a young monk who faces this moral outrage with acts of civil disobedience. Father John and his two nun fellow activists suffer the consequences of their actions—while the world learns the perils of dependence on these weapons of mass destruction to ensure peace. Sections of this book are nonfiction, in order to underline the grim realities of nuclear danger.
