From 1995 to 2000, two of the world's best-known companies - Mirage Resorts and Trump Resorts - run by two of the most flamboyant businessmen of our time, fought a bare-knuckled, high-stakes battle over a prime piece of real estate in one of America's most famous resort towns. Wow! An Amazingly Captivating Story!
If you like Boardwalk Empire and think that those days are behind us then read this book and see just how it works today. It's like being a fly on the wall while some of the biggest names in the world deal with everyone from mayors, governors, local politicians and "special interests" as well as each other. You also get a back story of the casino world from the 80s through 2000s. I was captivated from beginning to end.
