Good story but

Overall the story was fairly good, but it came across as being very contrived with many of the situations. Plus, the virtual voice kept making mistakes in the words it used.

AI voice is garbage.

The story is decent but the flat narration, poor AI pronunciation and grammar make just okay.

Enjoyable but needs more editing

The Auto Narrator was not bad. good tone of voice, just missed some inflections and tripped up on a few words hear and there. The writing was enjoyable but not exceptional. There are a lot of inconsistencies like when the character uses a "slow acting poison" on a knife to instantly kill assassins in a fight with a shallow cut. The author clearer stated it was a slow acting poison, and earlier in the book it was said the poison was renowned for having no side effects for 12 hours and killing the victim excrutiatingly after 12 hours of no symptoms.

Author and story have potential and it was a fun listen. Needs work.

I'm ready for the 2nd book now this was amazing seriously wasn't expecting much cuz it's free but I would but it in a heartbeat

Good story and concept

I liked the story, characters and the concepts. The ai narration needs a bit of work though….

action

love the story there wasn't a lot of filler like other audiobooks.. I listened to books 29hrs long and doesn't have as much action fight scenes and altercations with other characters as much as this book really enjoyed didn't lose interest at all

Fantastic Story

I really enjoyed this book a lot. I was worried with the Virtual Voice Narrator, but it did a fantastic job.

This first book did not have a lot of cultivation for the main character. However, the next one does.

The virtual voice is terrible!

I like the story, but the horrible narration almost ruined it. The voice inflection was terrible, and was really off-putting.

Really Quite Terrible. MC is a dope. Plot is useless.

I finished book 1 and 2. The MC is described as if he were highly trained interplanetary 007 spy hero etc. but at every turn the MC just jerks around like a child trying to drive a bus route.. No thought, no skill, no planning. just complaining and flawed attempt at a plot. Story is boring. Poorly written and poorly executed.
