Beautiful story <3 I feel blessed to have heard this and am grateful that the author shared this with us.

Her deep love for her Mother, and her Mother loved her the best she could <3

A heroic journey navigating the broken U.S. health and social service system that fails to care for society’s most vulnerable. I wept during the accounts of how much the author struggled to get help for her dear mother who was living with severe mental illness, and the challenges they both faced, in the process. A well written account of a bravely-lived, difficult childhood, and another example of someone who turned out to be a loving, caring person, in spite of not getting enough love and care in her childhood. Given that the narration was done by AI, it wasn’t bad—despite the horribly mutilated Spanish, in a few places.

A wake-up call to change the health care system
