The Danger Increases

Robinson and McKenna have so many trials ahead. They are trying to make something out of his inventions. There was a big show for all the magicians to see in his invention was purposely messed with it. Fortunately he was still able to fix it and lots of people ordered it. But the pressure is on because they believe McKenna has the Aesir’s Princess in her!

Good Storyline and Character Developments

The Invisible College, The Violence of Sound, kept me reading late into the night. Insights into some of the storyline mysteries, as well as new or renewed challenges and complications for the characters were revealed.

The writing flows well, as always, and is a pleasure to read. My only complaint is that the book wasn't longer. I want to know what happens!

Jeff Wheeler has already addressed the cliffhanger. I’d like to just hear the book in the series.

Excellent performance by Kate Rudd -

I have missed reading the about the Invisible College. It didn't take long to realize the many reasons I like it. Author Jeff Wheeler is apparently true wizard and a wordsmith to be able to craft such entertainment. 'The Violence of Sound (The Invisible College Book 2) is an excellent follow-up to the the first book. In addition, the audible narration is performed by the very versatile and talented Kate Rudd.
I cannot wait to begin reading book 3, 'The Alchemy of Fate' which I already have in my library. - Mr.Bill

More a fan of Wheeler than ever before

You remain one of my absolute favorite authors. I love the wholesome writing and adherence to biblical principles. Nothing is sacrificed though in the storytelling. I am always riveted by the first chapter and captivated throughout. I just love this new series.

Great Series

Love Jeff Wheeler, great story held my attention every time I think I have it figured out I do not. excited for the next book.

Novel plot, sensitivity to and positive portrayal of the hearing impaired

Great story, loved those almost historical references, positive portrayal of the hearing impaired, characters that are persistent in their goals and are rewarded because of their adherence to a honorable moral code

Wow! Great sequel!

Jeff Wheelers books are some of my favorites and rate up there with Brandon Sanderson in my opinion. I’m LOVING this series! Excellent world building and believable characters. Keep it up Jeff!

Great continuation of the story. Cliff hanger ending!

Continued character growth and plot expansion for this world that is just similar enough to ours to feel familiar but different enough to be interesting and maybe wish we had some of it with us. Cliff hanger ending is tough but author's note promises we won't have to wait long. Phew

Just as good as the first!

I counted down the days for the release of this sequel and was not disappointed! I read it in 1 sitting and wish it was September so we could find out what happens next. The characters are compelling, the story picks up where you left off, and the writing is simply beautiful. Can’t wait for the finale!
