TEN STAR PERFECTION ALL THE WAY THROUGH

I’ve always loved your books Ms Shen.. but this book.. wow, this mesmerising addictive fantastic book, has got to absolutely be the BEST ONE yet. The push and pulls between Cillian and Persephone, the twists, the emotional mind games until check-mate, then devastating revelations, the passion and the seismic sizzling chemistry, the character shattering and regrowth, the verbal sparring and well honed daggers, the fervent hopes and wishes and sex and love.. oh someone stop me please coz I could go on and on. Well they all added up to a spectacular, riveting, compelling and unique rollercoaster ride with feels bursting from every single paragraph (note to self.. breathe) and your well-everythinged tangled love story lost me many many many hours of sleep.. and you know what - I don’t care. Because I was deliriously happy basking on the tempest tossed cloud of a wish being fulfilled. And the dual POV narrator pick was genius - the talented Ava Erickson and Jacob Morgan brought the magic that turned your awesome book into living breathing people with bleeding hearts, tarnished dreams and many bridges to cross before a girl’s wish would be spectacularly granted. WORTH A CREDIT? Yup, a credit well spent.. and now I want to listen to it all over again.. especially Jacob’s strong manly possessive demanding alpha parts 😉😜🥰🤭🤫 it’s just between us.

I’m so relieved

I am SO happy I liked this book. I was SO disappointed in The Hunter. I just hated everything about it. The only thing redeemable for me was the book cover. And that was a first with this author for me. I was actually angry, so angry that I delayed getting this audio for a LONG time.

I really loved Persephone. Despite being a dreamer, she had a backbone. She was proud but kind, and very loyal and loving. Cillian was actually good at his core, but his shell was definitely a product of his upbringing and the bizarre thing that happened to him when he was younger. I would have loved to see more scenes of Cill and Percy together near the end.

Jacob Morgan was flawless. I’ve heard and love his British accent, but his accent for Sam was super hot and sounded like someone completely different. I kept forgetting it was JM. He is so freaking talented. There is never a question that he will elevate the listening experience.

Ava Erickson is also really great. Her tone is so pleasant, and she did a great job of differentiating the different female characters. She didn’t even attempt most of the accents though, but I wasn’t at all bothered by that. I don’t think either narrator knew Sailor had a Boston accent in her book. But that did not detract from anything. Ava’s tone is soft and feminine, but also has so much clarity in showing off the strength and vulnerability in a character’s emotions. She was an excellent choice here and absolutely elevated the listening experience.

This story was not as angsty as I was expecting, but I AM SO OK WITH THAT! I struggle and usually have to put the book down with angsty scenes. I was able to get through this book pretty quickly. I’m so relieved to get through this book and feel good about it.

What a cool different story of not so perfect perfect hero and imperfect heroine.

Cillian, an alpha, rich beyond measure protagonist surprised me... it won’t be fair for me to summarize his story because it’s better to do listen to it.. It was a really different, interesting and nice surprise there... HEA

Persephone was actually a good heroine cool to listen to until almost the end of the book where she became annoying... the inner dialogue kills it for me sometimes... but she was likable...

I enjoyed the intertwining with Hunter and His wife, Ash and the rest... it was a really good book... better than Hunter’s story 😳

Performance: Jacob Morgan has become one of my favorite narrators. Ms. Shen outdid herself with this book... I don’t know if she picks them or someone does but both narrators for these books made the books even better! If I have to complain, I wanted more steamy parts... all in all perfecto!!! Worth the credit or paying for it for sure!

Wow!! I couldn't turn it off. I stayed up all night to listen. Amazing story. Great performance. And, now I want my own villain. 5 🌟!

As to be expected, LJ has crafted yet another set of characters that pull you into their world and captivate you with their quirky personalities and boundless love.

Like most romance books, these heros and heroines never really have to concern themselves with the everyday nuisances and worries because most of them are filthy rich... The difference with LJ's characters is that there's depth to them -- they're never just some spoiled, rich elitist... They're humans with deep past hurts and histories that often shape them into who they are... Persephone and Cillian are no different.

Ms. Shen is a master composer and her books, every single one of them, leave you pining for the next.

As far as the narrators go, these 2 are AMAZING and truly captured the essence of Pen & Cill.

Loved it!

The narrators were perfect, and I couldn’t put this one down. Better than Hunter & Sailor! Would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Didn't see that coming

Well I was on the edge trying to figure out what his dark secret was and how the Green Living dude tied together. What a read. Without a spoiler alert let's just say I love how she handled the twins Tree and Tender. Unique names but then again so was hers. Her aunt and the cloud had me cracking up. Great ending to the story. Even though the twins dad was a jerk (nice clean word for him) he did redeem himself some by going to therapy. Good listen and will listen again. Besides who can't listen to JM over and over again.

A story along with sex scenes. This was a great mix of a well written story and well written sex.

I absolutely loved this book. Not a lot of spicy scenes band a bit winded towards the end but it's awesome.
