For 10 years, Shawn Small was a youth minister in the Dallas metro area. In 1999, he took a year-long sabbatical to find God's heart for his future. The result of that time was the launching of Wonder Voyage Missions in the year 2000. Wonder Voyage is a unique organization dedicated to educating and leading groups into the ancient Christian practice of pilgrimage and in life-transforming service trips around the world. Shawn has had the privilege of leading hundreds of people to locations around the world that include Wales, Jamaica, Greece, Guatemala, and Peru. Although he leads several retreats a year, Shawn considers himself first and foremost a storyteller. This is his first endeavor at publishing in his unique storytelling style. He and his wife, Cheryl, reside in Flower Mound, Texas. They have four children.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Via Crucis to be better than the print version?

Yes! But have not read the print edition. I would assume the same except with the print, I can highlight!

What other book might you compare The Via Crucis to and why?

None. Not even the Via Advent. The crucis is phenomenal spiritual insight.

What does Shawn Small bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He wrote it. So he read it how he heard it in his head. He brought to life his vision.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Tears of joy. I played over and over to mark to memory these wonderful insights. Especially the insight about the three hours of darkness at the cross and all sins, past, present, and future blotting out the sun! Wow! Thank you Jesus!

Excellent

Needed to read this for a Bible study so I purchased the audibles version to listen to while driving. I was truly drawn into the story. The author Shawn Small is a truly gifted story teller. I really enjoyed this telling of each of the stations of the cross.
