Buster Brown, an almost regular, 18 year-old, living in Lipton, Rhode Island, knows that something isn't quite right. He's tired, run down and has dark circles under his eyes. He doesn't know that dangers lurking in his own home and environment and all around him, and even, in him are the reason!

His energetic, new girlfriend, Caoilinn, (pronounced Kwee-linn) tries to help him but he doesn't listen until he faces his own frightening trial. His know-it-all attitude disappears and he begins to help himself and others to discover a new way of living. This novel is decent and appropriate for everyone in the family!

Buster’s world is absurd, sharp, and full of real-world anxieties hidden beneath kitchen sinks, deodorant caps, and cellphone radiation. He’s just trying to survive modern life, one chemically questionable product at a time, and nothing escapes his suspicious gaze—or the author’s. On the page, it’s witty and provocative.

What makes this audiobook truly shine is that it’s read by the author. The delivery is unpolished in the best way—natural, intimate, and full of meaning. You can hear the conviction behind every quirky observation, especially in the footnotes and ironic asides. It’s funny, thought-provoking, and oddly comforting.

If you love audiobooks that feel personal and sincere, give this one a listen. The author brings Buster’s world to life in a way no one else could.

I liked how it was a sensitive, poignant view of the world without being graphic or having sensationalism! However, it was about matters of vital importance! Touching and sweet!

Romantic and also Informative!
