Old Favorite
I remember this book from when I was younger. Kept in a safe place and taken out at special times. It is wonderfully done. Narrator does an excellent job. Brings back special memories.

Daughter falls asleep to this

I bought the velveteen rabbit and Riki ticky tavi for my 5 year old to fall asleep to and it works like a charm. She almost always chooses this one because she is afraid of the snake in Riki. James Mio has a relaxing voice. It's a sweet little story. The story works really well as an audio book for her age. I don't fell like we are missing out by not having pictures and it isn't too long for a 5 year old

Wonderful at any age
Would you listen to The Velveteen Rabbit again? Why?
Yes, I will listen to this again because I never read/heard it before.

I enjoyed the whole thing and I can't believe that at 56 I never heard/read it before!

Early Childhood
This book brought back so many fond memories of my teddy bear that my father gave me when I was in a hospital at five years of age. That was 60 years ago. My little brown teddy bear became Real. I still have my teddy bear and my father has been in Heaven for three years. I love you Dad ❤️
