Life Refresh and New Perspective
Ganesha is a man seeking a life’s refresh and a new perspective via a retreat in Mexico. As he explores his options and begins to embrace his past/present/and future, he finds himself embroiled in conflict, struggles, and a new relationship.
The author, Ned Burwell, weaves an interesting and creative narrative based on actual events and locations. Throughout the narrative, Burwell imparts words of wisdom and advice. At times, vividly depicting moments of pain, confusion, and longing fully immersing the listener. His character and plot development were deliberate and slow keeping the listener engaged.
Also, acting as the narrator, his unpolished style made the narrative more realistic and authentic. His delivery was at times uneven and hesitant, yet it did not affect the narrative.
The metaphysical aspect was carefully blended in making the narrative captivating with strong life messages.
