"Trapped in a near-death moment, Carter relived the past as his life flashed before his eyes.”
This story follows Carter, a young boy whose life has been changed by a childhood story as he embarks on a journey into adulthood. A journey of friendships and relationships, both platonic and passionate love, and betrayal. This story will bring back old memories like never before. A story that will take you on a nostalgic rollercoaster ride through the time when you were approaching adulthood.
This is the story of Carter.

I can feel the similarity with a lot of Haitian childhood backgrounds when it come to feelings and being in the New Country. 😢 Hits right In the emotions. By chapter 15, I really felt the go getter attitude with the character emotions. The storyline becomes more structured and easy to follow through. Noticed some run-on sentences despite the speakers articulate delivery. I am big on punctuations and grammar.
The end of chapter 24 was good though, didn't have the right delivery to what was supposed to be a pending shock. But at chapter 25, it definitely reeled me back in to the familiarities of reckless youth.
Nonetheless, Tthhiiiisssss book..... iiiissss sooooooo originally cinema! THAT WAS THE SLICE OF LIFE fOR MEEEEE! Favorite chapters, 5, 14, and 23. I enjoyed it. 😁
I SO CAN RELATE!... I enjoyed it.
