Resumen del Editor

A wonderfully witty and gorgeously romantic story of facing your fears and falling in love, for fans of Sophie Kinsella, Marian Keyes and Rosie Walsh.

Sally is an incredible singer, but nobody has ever heard her. The thought of singing in public fills her with dread.

But then something happens one summer which changes everything.

No longer able to hide in the shadows, Sally must return home to London to fulfil a promise she cannot break - to share her voice.

But just when she's ready to start her new life, a beautiful man turns up on Sally's doorstep with a sheepish smile and a mysterious hand-written message.

How did he find her and why is he here?

Does he hold the truth to what happened back in New York?

And will she still have the courage to step into the spotlight?

Bravo

What did you love best about The Unfinished Symphony of You and Me?

I loved how it was set over a year and skipped back and forth between London and New York.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the story, I wasn't sure about the Opera side of it when I read the synopsis but I loved it.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Too long for 1 sitting but I did struggle to stop listening to it.

Any additional comments?

This is my second Lucy Robinson book, I just loved it. Her characters in her books are just so well written! Can't wait to read the next one

Favourite Chick-Lit

Would you listen to The Unfinished Symphony of You and Me again? Why?

This book is one of my favourite chick-lit books. Certainly, the end of the story is predictable as it usually is with books in this genre. Still there are lots of surprises and interesting characters on the way.

What did you like best about this story?

I really liked Jan Borsos, even if he is light years away from the typical Hungarian man. (Trust me, I have first hand experience with them.) But what I really liked about the book was how the love relationship developed between the two main characters. In addition, I looove operas, and while I was reading, I was constantly looking up the arias mentioned and listening to them. This book really made me fall in love with opera again. I wasn't completely happy with the ending though. I think the book should have ended ca. 100 pages earlier, after the heart-to-heart conversation in the wardrobe... I also had issues with the explanation as to why someone ignores someone else, even if they are in love with that person. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this book to fans of the opera and chick-lit.

If you could rename The Unfinished Symphony of You and Me, what would you call it?

No need to rename it, I find the title quite good.

Any additional comments?

I really liked Stevie Lacey's narration.
