Great Visual book not well transferred to audio

Just editing the first page of each card to come after the second would vastly improve the audio version. All the chapter markers are wrong because of that. I tried to return the audio as soon as I noticed this, but audible would not let me. Even so, I will listen to it, knowing halfway through each chapter it’s actually talking about the next card – – slightly annoying but if I flip to see what chapter is next, it’s doable. The performance of the reader is fine/great it’s really just the editing piece that audible needs to go in and fix—and can very easily.

Not bad

I’m rating this a 1 because Amazon won’t let me return it after listening for 10 minutes. I have barely listened and realized the contents of the book weren’t exactly what I was looking for. The printed version is probably better, but in the audiobook version, the narrator fails to name the cards before describing them. I’ve seen pictures of the inside of the book and the name of the card is printed on the top of the page, so it baffles me that the cards’ names are not mentioned until halfway through their descriptions. The author’s card descriptions are occasionally a little off-putting, but pointing out the symbols is really the biggest and possibly only positive. The narrator lists off the symbols of each card at high speed. This is just bad particularly as an audiobook. I wish audible would let me return. This is why I cancelled my audible membership the first time. Ugh.. I got roped in again by a special. Won’t be making that mistake again.
