Miss Eleanor Prescott and her twin sister are nothing alike. Shy and with a knack for shipping affairs, Eleanor comes to her sister's aid when she tries to avoid a marriage with the ton's most eligible bachelor. As they switch places and put their plan into action, Eleanor finds herself falling for a man who was never meant to be hers…

Thomas Ashbourne, Earl of Ashdene, strives to save his ship-building business and a marriage of convenience is the only solution. Yet, his fiancée seems quite different from what he recalled. What has happened to the proper lady he thought he was marrying?

As Eleanor and Thomas spend more time together, they realize they might be the perfect match for each other. When disaster strikes though, the business is thrown into peril, and the truth of Eleanor's deception threatens to tear them apart. Will they manage to steer clear of the choppy waters and find their way to smooth sailing to save their love?

"The Twin Sister's Brooding Earl" is a historical romance novel of approximately 60,000 words. No cheating, no cliffhangers, and a guaranteed happily ever after.

Upon starting to hear the second story, I had to visit Kindle to review the names. Hearing a character named Eleanor Ashbourne with Thomas, and then a widow named Eleanor Ashford that had also been married to a Thomas made me think for a moment that the first Eleanor was now married. This is a confusion that could be easily avoided by using different names.
