I did finish this one, but I did have a problem keeping the names understood. Many from the eight and then some new ones here. Now that this is over, I have to start another as this series is finished. It brought to the ending some of the unfinished parts of the earlier story.

I will miss this group of friends. Great books! Ms Gray has a wonderful way of wrapping her readers up into the characters' lives.

Didn’t finish

I respect Ms Gray and I do know these conditions exist in the world. I have enough real issues in my life that I don’t need to read about the long lasting effects of darkness. I did listen to the other books in the series even though I almost stopped after the downer tone of book 1. Two was a bit better. Three was another downer. I did like the characters and wanted more so I tried Book 4. Sorry I did. Whole series is just to much mournful, evils of the world. I need happier books so I won’t be looking at this author again.
