The Time of Jacobs Trouble

Thus says the Lord: we have heard a cry of panic, of terror, and no peace. Ask now and see, can a man bare a child? Why do I see every man with his hands on his stomach like a woman in labor? Why has every face turned pale? Alas! That day is so great there is none like it; it is the time of Jacob's trouble, yet he shall be saved out of it. Jeremiah 30:5-7

These words were written by the prophet Jeremiah sometime before Judah was carried captive into Babylon. The question we must ask ourselves is, has this already been` fulfilled or is it prophecy yet to be fulfilled in the future or has this prophecy been abandoned and no longer relevant? This is the purpose of this book.
