The Time Traveler

We think of time as seconds, minutes, hours, and days. Our earth is millions of years old. It has undergone many changes, through the ice ages and prehistoric times, all leading up to the modern age. Do you ever think of your childhood, then all of a sudden you are 70 or 80 or 90 years old and cannot believe how quickly you go there? Your childhood friends to whom you were so close are gone, lost in time. Instead of being handsome and virile, you are in an old and aching person who has trouble getting up from a chair. Time moves so fast that life feels like just a moment- and it is. But what if time is actually non-existent?
