A Carnival in the Clouds
The Whimsy Carnival didn’t arrive like normal circuses did. It didn’t come by train or truck. It didn’t announce itself with flyers or marching bands. It simply... appeared.
One morning, the field at the edge of Dull grave , a town so quiet the birds forgot to chirp there, was empty. By sundown, it had exploded into life. Enormous tents, painted in strange shades of twilight blue and starlight silver, stood where there had only been weeds and whispering wind.
Lights dangled from nothing. Music played from nowhere. And the air shimmered with a kind of excitement the people of Dull grave hadn’t felt in years.
Word spread quickly By nightfall, the entire town , young and old, grumpy and wide-eyed , stood at the gates of the Whimsy Carnival, staring in awe.
And at the very center of it all, strung high above the tallest tent, was a single silver tightrope. Balanced upon it, alone against the glowing sky, was a small red fox.
