The Portable Wargame concept has continued to evolve since the first book was published in 2017, and the First and Second Portable Wargame Compendia were published in 2022 and 2023 respectively.

The Third Portable Wargame Compendium has been compiled and edited by Bob Cordery, and contains contributions from Archduke Piccolo, Bob Cordery, Mark Cordone, Arthur Harman, Nick Huband, Paul Leeson, Mike Lewis and Professor Gary Sheffield.
