Acerca de esta escucha
The Tea Party Movement is not a political party. Rather it appears to be an ideology built upon vague statements of goals, and core beliefs associated with what are termed ‘Traditional Values’.
Because the ‘Traditional Values’ structure is not specified, Prof. Lipton invokes his knowledge of traditions, religions, and draws upon his internationally recognized knowledge of finance and economics, to construct what many would assume is the desired objective of many who are looking at the Tea Party as an alternative to traditional Republican politics.
In that context, he also includes reference to the voices which have been raised on the internet, and their counter-productive, often self-defeating tone. As a result, Lipton views the Tea Party at face value, as representation of those voices, and, if those voices could be quieted, also as a promising future for the nation – if certain rhetoric can be dispensed with and those who profess that their values conform to Judeo-Christian ones, actually adhere to the scriptural statements and mandates which are so often ignored.
