The Tale of Three Christmases

One Christmas day, Isobel Darlington receives an unexpected gift. The small notebook, gifted to Isobel by her sisters, inspires her to one day become a famous writer.

As the years go by, Isobel is gifted another notebook in secret every Christmas, and with each new notebook, she sets to work writing story after story as the words spill from her imagination and onto the pages. Yet, no matter how hard Isobel tries, no one will publish her stories.

Disheartened that her dreams may never be realized, Isobel meets a boy selling Penny Dreadfuls on the corner near her house. Curious, she buys one to read, and that evening, she sets out to write a ghost story and quickly finds herself becoming one of the most well-known Penny Dreadful writers in the city.

Then, one morning, two weeks before Christmas, an eighteen-year-old Isobel Darlington was standing outside of the London History Museum. She is there to learn about ancient Egypt, not knowing that when she steps through the doors, her life will change forever.

The Tale of Three Christmases and everything that happens in between is a tale of love, mystery, heartbreak, and myth. It is a tale of a young girl who dreams of chasing the stars and the boy who makes her believe that she can.
