I loved it and the narrator was awesome! I'm becoming a huge fan of Jane Igharo's.

Great story and superb narration!

This was my first book by this author but it won’t be the last. It was a really good light read and the narrator was very talented with the accents and different character voice inflections. Would definitely listen to other stories narrated by them.

The absolute best!!

The storyline was so real to life. We didn't want to stop listening. The narration was spot on and every voice was very distinguishable. The different dialects rolled off the tongue so smooth, it made it easy to listen and actually live in the moments. Excellent!

Great read/listen!

This book was good from beginning to end! I enjoyed reading Ties that Tether, so I decided to listen to another book by this author! I enjoyed The Sweetest Remedy also! Looking forward to reading another one of Jane Igharo's books!

Absolute page turner ! Love it !!!

Lovely storyline, great family dynamic, story was almost relatable but com’on not all absentee Nigerian fathers turn out to be Billionaires ☺️ Narrator did a great job but kind of struggled with some of of the Yoruba names.
I finished this book in a day or two, I definitely found a new favorite author…go girl!

Good read

This love story was good. I enjoyed learning and listening to the family dynamics. In some ways it was very relatable.

So much more than I expected

I loved the story! I honestly chose it based on the cover art, but I was pleasantly surprised by a more realistic heartwarming story than I expected.

Unexpected Gem

Such an unexpected gem. This was an introduction for both the author and the narrator and I was pleasantly surprised by both. The storyline was better than I expected and the narrator did a phenomenal job with all the voices.

Sweet Love Story

This was an easy read, enjoyed the characters and voice of the narrator. Good bookclub read.
