Great story, not the best narrator

I really liked the story, which kept my attention the whole way with its depth, and believable and likable characters. The barrator was mostly ok but the stilted way she mispronounced the article “a” throughout and Spanish names like Andres was grating. Otherwise I really enjoyed the story and would read more by same author.

Beautiful story; robotic narration

Loved the story. Rang true on multiple levels. Writing was beautiful and evocative. But the audiobook narration was robotic and worked against the prose rather than with it. Would’ve enjoyed even more with better narration.
