Philosophy has often seemed like the castor oil of the disciplines: healthy, but never pleasurable, and best when swallowed quickly and forgotten.

Most Interesting!

This was a most interesting audiobook. The Story of Philosophy is a concise account of the lives and the ideas of great philosophers, including Plato, Aristotle, Voltaire, Nietzsche, etc. This edition also includes a bonus: The Age of Faith, which is a history of medieval civilization and discusses Christian, Islamic & Judaic life & culture.. I found both Durant books worthwhile and very interesting.
