Acerca de esta escucha

Jean-Henri Fabre (1823-1915) was a popular teacher, physicist, chemist and botanist, but is best known for his findings in the study of insects, and is considered by many to be the father of modern entomology. Much of his enduring popularity is due to his engaging manner of writing about the lives of insects in biographical form.

In The Story Book of Science the wonders of plant and animal life are shared by an adult in conversations with three children. Topics range from the mysteries behind thunder and lightning, the year and its seasons, volcanoes and earthquakes, as well as the ants' subterranean city, the spider's suspension bridge and the caterpillars' processing work.

This was so informative and entertaining. I love how it ended with the bees. I highly recommend it and would read it again.

Loved this book@

The information overall is semi-interesting. The voice is hard to listen to because of the accent they add to it. I've had to rewind and re-listen multiple times because of it.

The way the concepts about creatures are introduced is strange to me.

Weird way of introducing scientific topics to kids
