I truly enjoyed this story and how it helps children to understand the hurt they may cause to others and themselves, by not forgiving them. I also appreciated how the author brought the forgiveness of Jesus into the story as well. Would love to have a hard copy of this book. Well done Ms. Holthe!

Letting go of hurt in order to heal is strong and emotionally resonant The metaphor of a splinter works great — it’s small, hidden, painful, and only healed by facing the discomfort of removing it. Love it!
