Acerca de esta escucha
If Christians were to be presented with an opportunity to create a new government, what would we create? Would we try the Constitution again or would we try something new? Did those who came before us do everything perfectly, or are we suffering needlessly in areas where we have strayed from God's divine revelation? In other words, how can we fix the mistakes of our Founding Fathers? Did they make mistakes at all, and how would we know if they did? By what standard does does a people look to establish justice in the land? These and other questions concerning civil government are addressed in this book, a book that seeks to point the hearts of those who love Christ and His Word back to the Scriptures to judge the rights and wrongs of humanist governments in the West. While America has been nicknamed "the Great Experiment," the truth is that there is no need to experiment again: Christ, in the Bible, has shown us a better way to "do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God" (Micah 6:8).

Excellent primer on why Christian theocracy is better than the secular humanist/communist/jihadist/hindu variants of theocracy
The audio as of Dec 2024 isn't the best so if you're an audio snob I recommend buying the kindle and getting it to read to you. Book helped me see how I hated theocracy because I was mixing up the papist and European establishmentarianism system with Biblical theocracy...
Thankful for the Christian heritage we have in the US but we're so lacking in the common grace of the Holy Spirit in our pagan courts that these statist judges would not know justice if it bit them in the rear end. Hope some of pagan judges who claim to be Christian read books like these and know Christ and his law. Even the layperson because the pagan courts can't provide justice and Christians have the responsibility to adjudicate between themselves in a lot of matters that don't require the civil magistrate to intervene.
Highly recommend getting the physical book because this was way more of a reference book than what I anticipated
