Mike had lost his daughter, and the pain was still very real. Keith's budding writing career was stalled as he found himself in the middle of nowhere with a flat tire. Mike demonstrated his natural desire to show his hospitality, which gave him the opportunity to open up about his loss to a willing stranger with a mentoring soul.
