Best book of the series

I wish Modessit had continued from this book with the next, but alas, he did not. I actually picked up this boon 1st back in 1992, the. read the 1st book and later the 3rd.

the audio version is performed well, although the secondary characters all sounded cartoonish.

not a perfect story but quite well writen. a bit surprised by the twist and turns and eagerly await the final

narrator poor

the grating effeminate voice is distracting. The unusual pronunciation and emphasis is cringe worthy.

What about Kyle McCarley’s performance did you like?

He really does mold his voice into the voice of Gerswin.

This is the book in this series which I was most looking forward to, and it does not disappoint. If you are looking for a rip roaring, man against the universe, science fiction tale, look no further.

Recommended for all fans

This is not LE Modesitt best story, at least in my opinion. So if you don't know his work, there are other books from him which will be better introduction.

Now, if you are fans, go and dive into the silent warrior. The scope of his imagination is stunning and the ideas are fascinating. Definitely a must read for fans of the great master
