A good contemporary story
there is a lot of dark imagery throughout the book that made it slightly difficult to get through. But at the end of the day the story was good and the revolution occurred in the last little bit of the last chapter

Hmmm...
This was a rather odd story. I think it would've been better if it hadn't been told via correspondence and if the author had instead fleshed out the characters from the outset to avoid confusion. As it was, I thought it was needlessly rather unbalanced. The narration was great.
