worst written account of a fascinating topic

Despite being a short book the writer repeats words and phrases in a mind numbing way, using the exact same combination of words to describe every shaker innovation or community

Repetitive

This has to be the worst book I’ve ever read. I think the author stated the same sentence over 30 times and I’m not even to the second chapter. I thought the book was on repeat a few times.
